Yeah, he's gonna pull the front of the motor apart for a thermostat for a track day. He doesn't need a radiator, he doesn't need suspension upgrades. What he needs are good brake pads, fresh brake fluid, good tires, and to be sure his suspension and other mechanicals are in good shape. Upgrade driver skills before spending money on the car. He won't even find the limits of his car as is on his first day. And remove the passenger seat? Where is his instructor going to sit? It's not competitive, he doesn;t need to remvoe weight out of the trunk either (the wrong end to remove weight from anyway). Bring a chair, comfortable clothes, a cooler with some water, and a good attitude (ready to learn), and have a good time. Have you even been to a track day?
